JULIE'S CONCERTS

I believe it is important to keep performing and so I actively pursue my playing career to fit in with my busy teaching schedule.  It is always lovely to see my students at my concerts - do please come and say hello.

Orchestral Performances

I regularly play with orchestras in concert halls and cathedrals around the UK.  Regular venues include Sheffield Cathedral Wakefield Cathedral, Ripon Cathedral and Halifax Cathedral.

Recent highlights include a concert on Saturday 9th December 2017 when I performed with the Rep Orchestra at Firth Hall, Sheffield, in a Christmas concert which includes The Snowman, and Saturday 13th January 2018 when I led the viola section of The Sheffield Orchestral Collective for a performance of Gorecki Symphony No.3.

Guild of Strings

In April 2017, Julie founded the Guild of Strings.

On Sunday 29th October we held a SELL OUT Family Friendly Concert at Yellow Arch.  It was lovely to see many of my students at this concert.

We have plans for a Spring concert in 2018 - details to follow soon.
